Cari Griffo is a published poet and produced screenwriter. She significantly shines as a performance poet. She has performed her poetry in collaboration with musicians at such notable venues as, The Nuyorican Poets Café and The Knitting Factory in Manhattan, and Site Santa Fe. She has published two full length books of poetry; Ripening (Molti Frutti Productions 1997) and Sheltered and Before The Contagious (Poetry Factory 2020).
Cari's pilot "Canyon Road" produced by Kokopele Productions won BEST WEBISODE, 2013 New Mexico Film Festival and has streamed on Amazon Prime. Cari Griffo has completed several screenplays and gained representation with her first script by Andrew J. Whelchel 111 of GTR, Inc, a subsidiary of National Writers Literary Agency.

Cari lives in the old rustic mining town of Cerrillos outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico. She shares her life with her fine art painter husband, their multi-talented actress, songwriter, artist daughter, and Boston Terrier. She and her husband own and operate Trent Gerard Edwards Studio/Gallery in the village of Cerrillos.
